Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! We prefer that you contact us via email before your purchase and let us know what you are interested in purchasing and what country the order will be shipped to. Upon receiving that information, we will give you a shipping quote for your order and we will send you a separate invoice with your remaining shipping amount once everything is confirmed. Do you accept money orders, well concealed cash or personal checks?
We will accept well concealed cash but at your own risk, if it gets lost or stolen on its way to us we are not responsible. We will also accept personal checks but we will not ship your item(s) until your check clears, so be aware that sending a personal check will delay shipping. We will also take money orders. You can purchase these at your local post office and a lot of times at a grocery store! If you are planning on paying with any of the above methods, please email us with what item(s) you are interested in ordering. We will send you your total amount and we expect cash, checks or money orders to be received within 7 business days. We prefer PayPal transactions. If you pay by PayPal it is much safer and we can get your items out right away! Sorry, we do not accept international money orders.

How do I know if placing an order with you is safe?
Cherrybomb Boutique is a verified PayPal Business member! PayPal is a very trustworthy and respectable ecommerce solution.

Can I make changes to my order?
Since orders are shipped out on the next business day (sometimes the same day!), we only accept revision requests up to 10 hours after your original transaction. Please contact us if you need us to cancel an order, add something, or just switch an item. We will be happy to do this for you if it's within 10 hours. Once an item is shipped, no revisions can be made.

Do you do returns and/or exchanges?
Sorry, we do not accept any general returns or exchanges. Only if your item has been misrepresented (wrong measurements, unmentioned flaw, etc.), will we do returns. This does NOT include an item not fitting due to not taking our measurements seriously. We are not responsible for re-shipping the item. If you wish to make a return, only under these circumstances, please email us and we will be glad to refund your money. If they do not fall under these circumstances and you have shipped the package back to us, we will not accept the refund and ship it right back to you. Returns must be made within 10 business days.

How do I know for sure if an item will fit?
We try to give you exact measurements for the items we sell, so please review that information closely. We suggest measuring yourself and then compare the garments measurements to yours. Remember to give yourself a little room for movement. Also, you can always compare the measurements of our garment to the measurements of your best fitted clothes.

How We Measure:

We usually take measurements while the item is laying flat and unstretched. 


Tops, Blouses, Coats, and Shirts:


Arm length is measured from shoulder seam to wrist hem.

Bust/chest measured from underarm, across the chest to the other underarm, then measurement is doubled.

Length is measured from shoulder to hem, or straight down the back not including collar.

Waist is measured across where a normal waist would fall and then doubled.

Back is measured from shoulder seam across to other shoulder seam.


Dresses & Skirts:


Dress length is measured from shoulder to hem.

Waist is measured across where an average waist falls, then doubled.

Skirt length is measured from waistband to hem.

Hips are measured across where an average hip falls, then doubled.


Pants:

Inseam is measured from crotch down along inside of leg to hem.

Waist is measured across natural waist then doubled.

Sometimes we measure from the waist, down to the crotch if needed.


Shoes:

Shoes are measured lengthwise across the top of the shoe from the heel to the toe, and the width is measured across the sole at the ball of the foot. 

How do you rate the condition of an item?

All major flaws are mentioned in the item description. Once in a while we may miss small flaws such as minor loose seams, tiny holes or very small or faint stains. Small flaws that are not visible or do not effect the wearing of the item are not mentioned. 


Vintage Condition Rating Chart

Mint/Perfect: Self explanatory. Rare.

Near Mint: Like new no noted flaws.

Excellent: Noted minor flaws which do not compromise the item.

Very Good: Noted minor flaws, easily repairable, wearable as purchased.

Good: Noted minor flaws, most likely repairable, wearable with care.

Fair: Numerous noted flaws, some significant, possibly repairable/wearable.

As Found: An honest piece damaged beyond repair with value as costume or for study.

Do you put merchandise on hold for anyone?

Yes, we will hold your item up to 3 days. If you are interested in having an item held, please email us and let us know what item(s) you want held, and what day you would like to receive your invoice on. Upon receiving this information, we will then put the item on hold. When we are holding an item for you, we expect you to follow through with the transaction. If you don't reply to our check-up emails, we will take the item off of hold.

How often do you get merchandise in?
We update Cherry Bomb Boutique at least three times a week. We have a ton of inventory, so check back everyday for fresh updates!

How do you price your items?

We try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible. It depends on what we paid for the item and where we had to go to acquire it. Other factors include rarity, condition, size and current trends. Keep in mind that popular items and designer items will always be higher in price than mass manufactured pieces.

Do you buy vintage clothing?

Yes! Email us some photos of what you'd like to sell. We will tell you what we are interested in and you will then be responsible for shipping the items to us for inspection. We will decide on what we'd like to keep and let you know what we will pay for the items and ship the other items if any back to you.

Do you have your vintage items cleaned before selling them?

No, reason number one is that we do not have a cleaner we would trust with one of a kind vintage pieces. We are in a rural area, so we leave cleaning up to you.  We recommend cleaning any wearable vintage piece before wearing it. Reason number two, we can offer lower prices since we do not have to figure cleaning into the final price.


Do you have a minimum on wholesale items?

For those of you who want to buy items for resale you will be happy to learn that we do not have a minimum on our wholesale items!! Buy as many or as little as you like. For those of you who are interested in our wholesale items for  yourself please email me for measurements or any further information about the garment.


Can I buy items from your wholesale section for myself? Why are there no measurements listed?

Yes, you can! If you are interested in any of our wholesale items for yourself please email me and I can give you measurements on the item and answer any questions. There are no measurements because these items are intended for people who would like to buy and resell them.
